Queen of Tadoba in entire India, Maya has blossomed from being a small cub to a princess and now to a Queen whose glory surpasses the boundaries of Tadoba National Park in Maharashtra.
Maya is around 12 years old and was born in December 2010. She is an offspring of a tiger named Hill Top and a tigress named Leela.
After her mother Leela’s untimely death, she took over the territory and has been ruling over the area since then. In the beginning, she was known as P2 or T16 which in time turned to Maya.
Maya was spotted this morning in TATR with one of her cubs in the core territory.
Moharli, Navegao, and Kolara are the core zones of TATR (Tadoba Andheri Tiger Reserve). Entry gates are different and far from each other.
Moharli, Navegao, and Kolara somehow connect the route in the jungle (tourism area).
From Zero mile (Nagpur City):
Moharli TATR by Road is 144kms.
Navegao TATR by road is 112kms.
Kolara TATR by road is 105kms.
