Though marginally, majority cities in Vidarbha recorded a fall in minimum temperature on Wednesday and yet the temperatures remained above normal. Nagpur city’s data shows a gradual rise in minimum temperatures from 15.0 to 16.0 degrees by January 23.
Chandrapur was warmest in region at 17.6 degrees (2.3 degrees above normal) while Gondia was coldest at 13.5 degrees (0.4 degrees above normal).
The minimum temperatures recorded in other Vidarbha cities in decreasing order are as follows :
Yavatmal : 15.5 degrees ((0.1 degrees above normal)
Gadchiroli : 15.4 degrees
Amravati : 15.1 degrees (0.6 degrees above normal)
Akola : 15.0 degrees (0.6 degrees above normal)
Wardha : 14.5 degrees (0.7 degrees above normal)
Buldhana : 14.0 degrees ().9 degrees below normal)
