Today on 08.02.2023 morning from Kanan Pendhari Zoological Garden, Bilaspur a Hog Deer and two Peafowl (Landors) were brought to Maharajbagh Zoo, Nagpur.
There were male peacocks in Maharajbagh, so two females have been brought to make a pair.
The addition of new animals was done under the presence of Dr. Sunil Bavaskar, Officer-in-Charge of Maharaj Bagh Zoological Park, Veterinary Officer Dr. Abhijeet Motghare, Livestock Supervisor Mr. Mahesh Pandey and Zookeepers Harilal Tirmale, Siddhanath Chaudhary, Ramjit Yadav along with Ajay Yadav and Rakesh Yadav from Kanan Pendhari
