Nagpur is prepared to commemorate the warrior King Shivaji Maharaj’s birth anniversary. The king who founded the Maratha kingdom was born on February 19, 1690, in Pune Shivneri Fort, and this year marks his 393rd birthday.
On February 19, 2023 there will be a grand procession that takes place in Nagpur by some of the prestigious Committee:
Shree Shivrajyabhishek Sohla Samiti
The Samiti will organize various programs from morning 6:30 am such as Shiv Pujan, Dholtasha by Shivmudra and Shivpratishtha , Fencing, and Armed Indian Martial Art at Shivtirth Chatrapati Shree Shivaji Maharaj Square, Mahal, Nagpur.
Raja Shivchatrapati Pratishthan
The program commence with “Maharashtrachi Lokdhara” from 8:00 am. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will be the chief guest and other MLA and Members of Parliament will be present. On this occasion dignitaries from various fields will be felicitate at Shivtirth Chatrapati Shree Shivaji Maharaj Square, Mahal, Nagpur.

The committee will organize various programmes for whole day from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm onwards including Abhishek, Prasad Vitaran, Blood Donation Camp by Rainbow Blood Bank, Lezin Dance and NCC by Vidyabhavan High school, Light Show and Firecracker Show on evening at Raje Shivaji Square, Hivri Nagar, Nagpur.
