Entries from youths and organisations have been invited for District Youth Awards 2022-23.
Eligible youths must sent the entry to the office of District Sports Officer, Divisional Sports Complex, Mankapur.
Every year, youngsters and a youth organisation are felic- itated withYouth Award on May 1 for their significant contri- butions to social work and encourage youths. Persons between 13-35 years are eligi- ble for the award.
Also, those organisation registered under Mumbai Public Trust Act 1950 are eligible for the award. They (both categories) have to sub- mit character certificate issued
from the nearest police station.
Social work contribution of last three years in urban and rural region will be taken in account during the scrutiny.
Certificates of development works in Education, Adult education, Employment, Health, Environment, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Women Empowerment, Business, Female Foeticide and Deaddiction along with improvement of filthy habittion, slums, disaster management, local public issues should be submitted with application. Conservation of national asset and works with nation-building evidences also are to be submitted.
