Akash Thosar, Sayali Patil, and the cast were in city today to promote their upcoming Marathi film “Ghar Banduk Biryani” at Kamla Nehru Mahavidyalaya.
The students rush to the college for the promotional event. At the event, the star cast and Nagpur youth dance to the movie’s song ‘Aaha Hero,’ as well as other songs. Sayli and Akash interacted with youth.
The event also featured the film’s director, Nagraj Manjule, actor Sayaji Shinde, and other cast members.
The film is based on Harshal Awtade’s short story ‘Ghar Banduk Biryani,’ which was later expanded into a screenplay by Manjule and Awtade. Manjule’s production company, ‘Aatpat Productions,’ and Zee Studios have collaborated to produce the film, which follows in the footsteps of his previous projects, Sairat and Naal. The multilingual film will be available in Marathi, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The film will be released in theatres on April 7.
