Union Home Minister Amit Shah is arriving here late in the evening of Wednesday. He will inaugurate the National Cancer Institute, Jamtha, Nagpur on Thursday at 11 am. RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat, Union Minister for Surface Transport Nitin Gadkari, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will attend the function.
During Shah’s visit, several changes in traffic have been made. Shah will leave for Delhi by a special plane, at 1.45 pm. On Thursday he will stay at the Radisson Blu hotel. A strong police force of more than 200 personnel has been deployed at the hotel. A bomb detection squad has already visited the hotel. Shah will travel in a bullet-proof car.
Shah is visiting Nagpur for the second time in the month of April
