Rain lashed many parts of the city with gusty winds and lightning on Monday evening in Nagpur. At around 3:30 in the afternoon, the sky became cloudy, and lightning flashed across the sky, followed by a heavy downpour.
The maximum temperature has decreased for the last two days. With the temperature settling at 40 degrees, Nagpur people have gotten some relief from the Nautapa heat. Monday’s rain has added to it people’s delight.
It is reported that due to rain, water has accumulated in many deep areas of the city and in the squares. It has also been reported that trees have been uprooted in some areas.
The Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted rain along with dust storms to hit parts of Central India.
