Exciting news awaits aviation lovers as the Nagpur Flying Club (NFC) prepares to expand its wings to Morwa Airport in Chandrapur. The divisional commissioner informed sources about the same. She informed that NFC’s Morwa activities have been approved by the Maharashtra Airport Development Company. The main reason behind this is to better training skills by broadening the scope of NFC.
Bidari informed that MADC had specified to pay the rent to utilize the facilities, and they have asked the government to waive the rent. NFC is training at present 40 students and providing scholarships to around 20 students belonging to the low-income group through the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Research and Training Institute (Mahajyoti). They get to train without interruption for an entire 18 months.
