The BBA Department of Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Management Studies and Research (DAIMSR) had organizeda week-long Induction programme,’Aarambh’, for the first year BBA students. The aim of this ice-breaking induction was to break the walls of hesitance and uncertainty, to establish a fresh start for the 3-year UG programme, and familiarize the new students with the norms, standards and faculty members of the Institute.
The Department held entertaining seminars, games, activities, and lectures every day. The first day began with several interactive lectures given by faculty members on subjects like “Know Your Department,” “Self Exploration and Creative Expression with Me Tree ,” and “The Way Ahead,” which were followed by games like “Roll the Dice,” “Best out of Waste,” and “Make a Paper Tower”. Dr. Vartika Patil and Dr. Manjusha Giri both gave guest lectures on Personality and Pathway and gender Sensitization, respectively.
DAIMSR has been producing some of the best quality entrepreneurs for years now. The successful alumni of DAIMSR were invited to interact with the freshmen batch on the second and third day of Aarambh. Textile businessman Ritik Gurnani, famous vlogger Yatish Mahadule, Social media tech shorts influencer Yash Tiwari and a few more engaged in this active interaction. On the last two days of the induction program, faculty members conducted additional interactive lectures on subjects like The Beauty of Stories, Stepping Up in the Future, Mind & Coordination, Social & Emotional Acumen, The Effectiveness of Dyadic Communication, Ice-breaking & Know Thyself, Fruit Jump, 6-Legged Race, Flip Race, etc. The induction program came to a highly enthusiastic conclusion with the Adventure Trail, which tapped into the fresh batch’s heightened spirits and brought the Induction to a zestful close
