Nagpur Smart City CEO B P Prithviraj directed the installation of 500 CCTV cameras at Tajbag, during Hazrat Baba Sayyad Tajuddin UIrs. The cameras have been installed to ensure the security of a large number of devotees visiting the place.
A total of 95 cameras have been connected to the Smart City’s Atal Behari Vajpayee City Operation Centre to facilitate the police to keep an eye on anti-social elements and also to regulate traffic. A mobile service van has also been deployed to help the police force in maintaining security in the region.
In about 700 squares 3,600 cameras have been installed. Special attention is being given to security during the Shahi Sandal.
