On Friday, the Legislative Council examined the increased smuggling and sale of narcotics in the state. Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis stated that the police department is working intensively to uncover a narcotics smuggling network. Aniket Tatkare had voiced a concern over this. He stated that around 80 kilograms of MD powder was confiscated in Khopoli. Speaking on the subject, Fadnavis stated the state government’s position unequivocally. “The Union home minister had convened a meeting of state home ministers,” he explained.
