To ensure the well-maintenance and safety of the famous Ambazari and Gorewada dams in the city, Municipal Commissioner Dr. Abhijit Chaudhary has set up a dam security cell. Both Ambazari Lake and Gorewada Lake fall under the jurisdiction of the municipal corporation. The Dam Safety Cell has been created with the mandate to make essential decisions and execute measures for the safety and upkeep of the dams. The cell is entrusted with the responsibility of making decisions, implementing them, and maintaining the dams in optimal condition to ensure their safety.
