Nagpur District and Sessions Court has refused to grant relief to Former Minister and Senior Congress leader Sunil Kedar. The court has dismissed his bail plea and also refused application for suspension of sentences.
A special court had sentenced six accused including Kedar to five years inprisonment in the NDCC Bank corruption case of 150 crores. Against this, Kedar had applied in the District and Sessions Court. The court gave its verdict on Saturday after hearing the side of Kedar and the government.
Meanwhile, Sunil Kedar was undergoing treatment at GMC after being sentenced. Finally on Friday after doctors declared him fit, he was sent to Nagpur Central Jail.
