Traffic heading towards Badkas Chowk in Mahal will be diverted because of a rally at the square on January 22. The rally has been organised to mark the consecration of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. More than 10,000 people are expected to attend the rally, which will be addressed by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and other BJP leaders.
Restrictions on parking of vehicles in the area will imposed. The roads leading to Badkas Chowk from Chitnis Park will have to park vehicles near J N Tata Parsy School or Ganeshpeth Police Station. The vehicles coming from Chitar Oli to the square will have to move through Itwari. The Kelibag Road will be closed for vehicle parking. The traffic will be diverted from Gandhi Gate to Kotwali Square to Jhenda Chowk. The vehicles coming from Ayachit Mandir to the square will have to move to Natraj Cinema Square.
