Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has assured residents of Shivaji Nagar, Nagpur, that their concerns regarding the increasing number of nightlife venues in their neighborhood will be addressed.
The rise in liquor joints has led to a shortage of parking space and frequent disturbances in the area. People living there have noticed fights and arguments, especially because of rowdy behavior from young people who have been drinking at these places.
Following this, a group of 20 people from Shivaji Nagar had a meeting with Fadnavis to talk about their problems. They talked about issues like people entering their property without permission, damaging things, and driving carelessly after visiting bars.
Fadnavis listened carefully to their worries and assured them of quick action. He promised to tell the authorities to take strong action against those breaking the rules and make sure they’re enforced properly. He also said that the city police would step in to stop any damage to property and any other disturbances in the neighborhood.
The delegation included prominent residents, advocates, chartered accountants, and activists. Their collective effort underscored the urgent need to address issues affecting the peace and harmony of Shivaji Nagar.
Fadnavis’ commitment to addressing these concerns is seen as a positive step towards restoring tranquility to the neighborhood and safeguarding the well-being of its residents.
