The DRM Challenge Cup Volleyball Tournament was inaugurated on May 28, 2024, by Shri P. S. Khairkar, Additional Divisional Railway Manager (ADRM), in a grand opening ceremony. This exciting event saw a total of eight teams competing in a league-cum-knockout format, showcasing high levels of skill and sportsmanship.
The tournament culminated in a thrilling final match between the Engineering (ENGG) team and the TRS team on dated 30.05.2024. The final was a best-of-three sets match, where the Engineering team emerged victorious, defeating TRS with a score of 2-1. The match was a nail-biting affair, keeping the audience on the edge of their seats until the very last point.

Man of the Series: Ashish Kene (ENGG) – Ashish’s outstanding performance throughout the tournament earned him the prestigious title of Man of the Series.
Best Attacker: Shravan (TRS) – Shravan’s powerful attacks and consistent play made him a standout performer.
Best Setter: Rajendra Kumar Singh (TRO) – Rajendra’s exceptional setting skills were crucial in orchestrating his team’s offense.
Best Libero: Md Parvez (OPTG) – Md Parvez’s defensive prowess and agility earned him the title of Best Libero.
