Nagpur reported a temperature of 41.8°C today on June 3, while Amravati recorded the highest in the Vidarbha region at 43.0°C. Other areas, including Bramhapuri (41.8°C), Wardha (42.1°C), and Chandrapur (42.0°C), also experienced high temperatures.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts temperatures around 40°C in the coming days for Vidarbha, with thunderstorms, gusty winds, and lightning expected until June 6. Pre-monsoon anticipated to begin from June 7 onward.
Parts of Vidarbha, including Buldhana, Bhandara, Bramhapuri, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, and Yavatmal, reported relative humidity levels above 50%. Despite a slight decrease in temperature, high humidity continued to cause daytime discomfort.
