The Social Security Branch (SSB) of Nagpur Crime Branch conducted a raid on flat no. 18 at Aakar Builders in Chitnavis Nagar Layout, near Pagalkhana Chowk, and uncovered a sex racket during the night between Wednesday and Thursday.
The police arrested the accused, identified as Arpana Sachin Naik (40) and Firoz Khan Abdulla Khan (52), a resident of Gaddigodam, under relevant sections of the PITA Act. Additionally, they detained a juvenile delinquent and rescued two women from the clutches of the accused.
According to police sources, the SSB squad, led by PI Kavita Isarkar, received a tip-off about a sex racket operating at the flat near Pagalkhana Chowk. After verifying the information, the police raided the premises and discovered the accused luring women with money to engage in obscene acts. An offence has been registered, and further investigations are ongoing.
