The Central Railway, Nagpur Division, has introduced a new initiative to offer digital payment options at both reserved and unreserved ticket counters through QR code devices. This innovative solution is now available at various counters across the Nagpur Division, simplifying the ticket purchasing process for passengers and encouraging cashless transactions.
From September 1 to October 20, 2024, the Nagpur Division issued unreserved tickets worth Rs. 1.23 crore for 154,669 passengers and reserved tickets totaling Rs. 1.49 crore for 26,489 passengers. Passengers purchasing tickets at these counters can now benefit from faster and more convenient digital payment options.
