The 3rd national conference ‘Nepticon 2024’ for faculty and post graduate students in Pharmacology will be held on November 22 to 23. It is organised under the guidance of Department of Pharmacology, National Association of Pharmacology & Therapeutics. It will be held at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), MIHAN, Nagpur. The Organizing Secretary of conference Dr Ganesh Dakhale announced this in press conference on Tuesday. The two-day national conference is aimed at exploring new methods in modern pharmacology for better healthcare. On this occasion Dr Executive Director of AIIMS Nagpur Dr Prashant Joshi, and Medical Superintendent of AIIMS Manish Srigiriwar were also present.
Experts from pharmaceutical companies as well as academic experts from nationally renowned institutions have been invited for the conference and more than 550 delegates will participate in it. Medical research papers on various topics like drug, use of artificial intelligence in disease management, clinical trials in patients etc. will be presented. Experts in their fields will also guide the participants. The inaugural session of the conference will be November 22, from 11:45 a.m to 1 p.m. At the beginning of this two-day conference, workshops will be held on November 21, in which experts will guide on how to acquire the necessary skills for artificial intelligence research, discussion on medical education, research and the importance of new drug development will be discussed.
A large number of MD pharmacologists from across the country will participate and more than 250 research papers will be presented in 13 technical sessions. Similarly, awards for excellence in research will also be given to doctors.
