Palghar: A mild earthquake of 3.7 magnitude shook Maharashtra’s Palghar district early Monday morning, officials said.
The tremor was recorded at 4:35 am in Dahanu taluka, according to Vivekanand Kadam, chief of the district disaster management cell, citing an official report.
Residents in Bordi, Dapchari, and Talasari areas reported feeling the tremor, but no casualties or property damage have been reported so far, officials confirmed.
The district disaster management team is monitoring the situation, though the quake caused minimal disruption.
