The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is reportedly considering extending the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season until May 30, according to The Indian Express.
Following a week-long break, the tournament is expected to resume from May 16. As per the report, the remaining fixtures are likely to be held across three venues — Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.
Sources indicate that the revised schedule will be shared with franchises by Sunday evening. The decision to condense the venues is seen as a strategic move amid logistical challenges and evolving security considerations.
