City Athlete Nikita to represent India in Italy

Nikita Raut, a student of Chakrapani Mahavidyala,  will represent India in 30th Summer University Games 2019 to be held in Italy from July 3 to 14.
While representing RTM Nagpur University she has confirmed her place in the half marathon squad of India. During the time trials held at KITS University in Bhubneshwar today she clocked 1.20.28 seconds in half marathon event. The qualifying time was 1.21.57 seconds. Renu achieved the second place with 1.24 minutes whereas Divyanka Choudhary finished third. They both are the students of Punjab University Patiala. Nikita, a member of Track Star Athletics Club  has been trained by Ravindra Tong at Reshimbagh ground.
Member of Board of Physical Education of RTM Nagpur University Dr Dhananjay Welukar, acting director of Department of Sports and Physical Education Dr Atmaram Pande, lifetime president of NDAA Dr Babanrao Taywade, secretary Sharad Suryavanshi, Dr Ratnakar Dahat, Dr Yashwant Patil, Dr Madhvi Mardikar, Prof. Avinash Pantawne, LR Malviya, Nagesh Sahare, Gurudeo Nagrale, Sanjay Choudhary and others have congratulated her.
