The latest released movie based on one of the India’s greatest achievement, Mission Mangal has been declared to run tax free in the theaters Maharashtra State. The movie is based on an Inside story of Mangalyaan and the scientists who worked hard enough to make the launch possible of the Mars Orbital Mission.
The idea is to attract people and especially youths from the rural areas, by keeping the tickets tax free. Youngsters usually neglect getting into a stream where they have a scope of becoming a scientist, on the other hand India needs more strength in research and many more innovators who can bring up new ideas in scientific development of the country, said Akshay Kumar, during the promotion of the film.
In recent days, with the launch of Chandrayaan youths are seen taking interest in the study of space & research and are even attracted to rocket science.
Mission Mangal was launched on August 15 and in the period of two weeks it has made a budget of 171 crore, which is not that far from actual production budget of the movie. And now that it has gone Tax Free in the state where the actual film industry is based and has got a great fan base for movies of any kind, Mission Mangal might hold a chance to complete its remaining expenditure.
It is expected that, a crowd from the younger age groups will hit the theaters to watch this movie and also learn and get inspired to become a scientist.
