Centre Point School (CPS) Dabha boys defeated their Wardhmannagar branch to enter the final in Inter-School City Under-17 Basketball Tournament organized by DSO at NBYS Bajaj Nagar court, here on Saturday.
CPS recorded an easy 44-29 victory. Taran Kakkad top-scored with 17 baskets and he was ably supported by Aditya Sharma (8). For Wardhmannagar, Chinmay Nimbalkar (12) fought the lone battle. The second semifinal between CPS Katol Road and BVM Srikrishna Nagar will be played on Sunday morning.
Earlier in the quarters, CPS Dabha defeated BVM Trimurti Nagar 31-5. BVM Shrikrishna Nagar entered the semis defeating Narayana Vidyalyam 45-40. CPS Katol Road eliminated Saraswati Vidyalaya 33-12 whereas CPS Wardhmannagar routed BRA’s Mundle 42-19.
