Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has commenced the admission process for Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology in Maharashtra. The last date of registration is August 25. There are 3 HMCT institutes in the State with 180 seats. Out of these three institutes, two are in Government setup while one is private. One Government institute is in Nagpur and other is in Pune. The eligibility criteria for taking admission is XII pass (35%). Students can clear the exam from any stream. The students can register to take the admission by visiting the website www. dtemaharashtra.gov.in.

This will avoid social mixing and the norms of social distancing would be followed. The option of physical presence too would be there as student or parents can go and get their documents scrutinised at the facilitation centres.
