Kavya Raj Agrawal (Class 3) and Ananya Pankay Goyenka (Class 4) of Centre Point School have brought laurels to not only the school but also to the city. Both, Kavya and Ananya had participated in the Oxford Big Read India Competition organized by Oxford University Press.
It is an annual celebration of literacy where the students read books, complete projects and this promotes reading and literacy among the children.
Kavya Raj Agrawal has cleared Level 1 which is Asia Level and has received a certificate and 100 pounds from UK. Ananya Goyenka has cleared Level 2 which is at the National Level and has received a certificate and stack of books from OUP.
The judges liked the beautiful book cover designed by Kavya and the lovely, insightful comments of Ananya in her review. Sumathi Venugopalan, Principal, Centre Point School, congratulated the students and wished them luck for their future.
