It was a houseful weekend as the Balasaheb International Zoological Park in Gorewada remained full on Sunday. As per information, it witnessed 1000 visitors since its inauguration and all enjoyed the jungle safari. This has generated revenue worth Rs.2.5 lakh. On Sunday, people throng the Gorewada zoo and it was completely full where as many people got disappointed as they did not get the ticket had to return home.
As per the details, on January 26,624 tourists had availed the jungle safari. And the very next day 256 tourists visited the zoo and enjoyed the treat. The management of Gorewada zoo collected Rs.178340 on Sunday. The zoo management has provided both online and offline platforms for the booking of jungle safari. Total 527 tourists booked tickets online on Sunday and 97 booked offline.
