Nagpur district have been witnessing continues rise and drop in COVID cases from last few weeks. On February 9, the district reported 230 fresh coronavirus cases with 6 people succumbing to the infection in the day taking the total count of positive cases to 136607 so far.
The city also witnessed a rise in the number of recoveries with 313 patients getting free on the virus-borne disease.
From the total 4203 deaths so far, 750 deaths are from the city, 2737 from rural and rest 716 from out of Nagpur, an official release said.
After the fresh updates, the total active cases in the city now stands at 3142 including asymptomatic cases advised for home isolation.
The cumulative number of recovered cases in the district has reached 129262 (including 72178 home isolation recoveries). After today’s update, the recovery rate stands at 94.62%.
Today’s 230 positive cases were reported from various hospitals.
AIIMS (42), GMC (17), IGGMC (17), MAFSU (0), NEERI (28), RTMNU (14) Private Lab (93) and Antigen (19).
Today’s 6 fatality cases belonged to:
Rural (1) City (3) and out of the city (2).
