Nagpur district continues to register more than 800 cases daily. On March 2, the district reported 995 fresh positive cases with 10 deaths. The total number of cases has reached 151660 so far. The tally of deaths due to the virus-borne disease reached to 4351.
As per the official report, out of the total positive cases, 215 were from rural areas and 777 cases from Nagpur city alone.
Meanwhile, from the total deaths, 5 cases were reported from Nagpur city and 2 from rural area while 3 were registered from outside of the city.
After the fresh updates, the total active cases in the city now stands at 8844 including asymptomatic cases advised for home isolation.
With 579 recoveries in the day, the cumulative number of recovered cases rose to 138465 (including 72485 home isolation recoveries). The recovery rate recorded today was 91.30 percent.
Today’s 995 positive cases were reported from various hospitals.
