The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) caught red handed Sunil Rambhau Kalbande (55), Deputy Commissioner, at Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship Development head office at Nagpur while taking bribe of Rs 25,000.
According to the information provided by the ACB the complainant, a resident of Danav Wadi, Balaji Ward no 2, Chandrapur. He is a head clerk at the Assistant Commissioner office of the same Department at Chandrapur.
The complainant had applied for promotion from head clerk to Skill and Employment Guidance officer. Sunil Kalbande, telephoned him and informed that he had forwarded and recommended his name for promotion and posting at Chandrapur only to Commensurate Mumbai. Sunil in return of the work demanded a sum of Rs 25000.
The complainant who was not willing to pay the bribe amount contacted ACB Nagpur following which a trap was laid to catch Sunil red handed.
A complaint was launched against him at Sadar Police Station. Rashmi Nandedkar, Police Inspector ACB Nagpur Supretendent Milind Totare, Yogita Chafle, Ravikant Dahat, Amol Menghre and other were part of the ACB team.
