In yet another case, a tiger killed a farmer in Bharadkar Toli on Kalamtola road in Gadchiroli district on Thursday during noon time. A person had died in tiger attack in the district two days ago.
It is reported that Pundalik Masaji Nikure (65), a resident of Bhikarmaushi village, was going to field for grazing an ox. Suddenly a tiger pounced on him on the spot. Later, other villagers found clothes of Pundalik and they started searching for Pundalik. They found his body at a nearby distance. Forestmen are making further investigation in the matter.
Meanwhile with death of two persons in a couple of days has created a sense of insecurity among the villagers in the area.
