In order to increase the pace of COVID vaccination in the district, now, vaccines will be administered in the government office. In this sequence, vaccination will be done at Zilla Parishad (ZP) tomorrow.
The drive will be carried out in divisional commissioner’s office and district collector office soon. Giving this information, district collector R Vimala has instructed more and more people to take the vaccine. She was speaking at district Covid task force meeting.
At present in view of the festivals, crowds are being seen. The vaccine is effective so that the Covid does not spread again. So far 1720 pregnant women have been vaccinated in the district.
It was informed in the meeting that the pace of vaccination is slow in Ramtek, Kuhi and Kamptee. In view of this, instructions were given to create public awareness regarding vaccination in these tehsils.
District collector said medical experts are expecting third wave of Covid. She advised to take the cooperation of public representatives in the vaccination campaign. Shabbir of Rotary Club and Balveer Singh of Lions Club assured coop eration in this regard.
