Nagpur Municipal Corporation, which has launched a special campaign to vaccinate the citizens against corona, has completed administering over 30.60 lakh doses of the vaccination so far. The campaign is getting encouraging response from the people.
NMC has opened as many as 157 vaccination centres in different parts of the city in which vaccination is done to youths above 18 years of age. More than 19.73 lakh citizens are eligible for vaccination and so far 19 lakh first doses and 11 lakh second doses have been given.
Radhakrishnan B, Municipal Commissioner, has appealed to the citizens to complete first dose and then second dose while Ram Joshi, Additional Municipal Commissioner, informed that the Health Department was now concentrating on youths for vaccination. Moreover, health workers are also visiting door-to-door to administer vaccine doses.
