The coffee table and flag distribution of the fourth edition of much awaited Khasdar Krida Mahotsav (KKM) was done today by the hands of Union Minister of Road Transport and Highway Nitin Gadkari at Suresh Bhatt Hall.
The event was graced by London Olympian and former Indian hockey team member Sandeep Singh and renowned India badminton player Jwala Gutta.
The fourth edition of KKM will kick start from January 2 with Bodybuilding event at Yashwant stadium
“KKM is one such event in which hundreds of athletes take part, and we offer opportunities to meet iconic players and seek inspiration from them†Minister Nitin Gadkari said.
“No one is perfect and no one can claim to be perfect and with this message only one can become the best athlete in history†he said.
Remembering old days Gadkari said that “during my college days I was active in sports but we lacked the basic facilities. Now we try to give the best services and facilities to all the athletes in the KKM. We have prepared around 350 grounds in Nagpur where all facilities have also been provided to prepare sportspersons like Gutta and Singhâ€.
“I am happy to see the smiling faces after two year of wait†he added.
