The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light rainfall for Vidarbha till Saturday.
This will provide some relief from the scorching heat wave-like conditions in Maharashtra.
With this, the day temperature is also expected to drop marginally during the next three days.
IMD in its update said, “Thunderstorms will lash Pune, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Satara, Kolhapur, Sangli, Nanded, Latur, Osmanabad, Amravati, Akola, Buldhana, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Gondia, Nagpur, Wardha, Washim and Yavatmal districts during Thursday and Saturday. Parbhani and Hingoli shall experience rainfall on Friday and Saturday.â€
For Vidarbha, IMD has forecasted thunderstorms with lighting from April 21 to 23.
