It was the last over of the nailbiting match between Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals when the DC camp got furious over on-field umpire’s decision as he didn’t adjudge Obed McCoy’s high full-toss a no-ball.
Furious over the decision Delhi Capitals captian Rishabh Pant even tried to call the on-field batters, Rovman Powell and Kuldeep Yadav, back.
As a result, Pant has been fined 100 per cent of his match-fee for breaching the Level 2 offence under Article 2.7 of the IPL Code of Conduct during his team’s match against Rajasthan Royals at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
Shardul Thakur has also been fined 50 per cent of match-fee for breaching Level 2 offence under Article 2.8 of the IPL Code of Conduct.
Pravin Amre, Assistant Coach, Delhi Capitals has been fined 100 percent of his match-fee for breaching the Level 2 offence under Article 2.20 of the IPL Code of Conduct. He will also face a one-match ban for the offence.
