It was the last over of the nailbiting match between Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals when the DC camp got furious over on-field umpire’s decision as he didnâ€™t adjudge Obed McCoyâ€™s high full-toss a no-ball.
Furious over the decision Delhi Capitals captian Rishabh Pant even tried to call the on-field batters, Rovman Powell and Kuldeep Yadav, back.
As a result, Pant has been fined 100 per cent of his match-fee for breaching the Level 2 offence under Article 2.7 of the IPL Code of Conduct during his teamâ€™s match against Rajasthan Royals at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
Shardul Thakur has also been fined 50 per cent of match-fee for breaching Level 2 offence under Article 2.8 of the IPL Code of Conduct.
Pravin Amre, Assistant Coach, Delhi Capitals has been fined 100 percent of his match-fee for breaching the Level 2 offence under Article 2.20 of the IPL Code of Conduct. He will also face a one-match ban for the offence.
