A tiger cub of 8/9 months old was found dead in Chorbauli beat in the core area of Pench Tiger Reserve. It is suspected that the cub died in an attack made by another carnivore.
The post mortem was done on Saturday and the mortal remains were burnt to flames as per SOP of National Tiger Conservation Authority. Dr Sujit Kolangath, Dr Sudarshan Kakde, Shrilaxmi Madam, Field Director, Pench Tiger Reserve, Dr Prabhu Nath Shukla, Deputy Director, Atul Deokar, Asstt Conservator of Forest, Rahul Shinde, RFO, Ajinkya Bhatkar, honorary Wildlife Warden and others were present.
