Nagbhushan Foundation, Nagpur will confer ‘Yuva Nagbhushan Award’ to young citizens who have excelled in various fields, at a ceremony to be held at 11.30 am on May 7 at Tamarind Hall, Chitnavis Centre, Civil Lines.
Union Minister for Road Transport and Shipping
Nitin Gadkari will be the chief guest. Young students and youth who have brought laurels to Vidarbha at State and National levels are honoured by Nagbhushan Foundation every year.
The award comprises a memento and a cash
prize of Rs 50,000. The Foundation could not
conduct the event for last two years due to the
pandemic. This year, the Foundation will felicitate
four youth who brought laurels to the city at State
and National level events during 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.
Saanya Pillai (Martial Art), Maitreyee Ghanote
(Cultural), Devay Mehta (Squash) and Alfiya Pathan (Boxing) will be honoured. Ajay Sancheti, Vilas Kale, Zamin Amin, Adv Nishant Gandhi and Satish Goel also will remain present as guests.
