In a decisive move aimed at curbing malpractices among Aapli Bus conductors, the Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s transport department took swift action on Monday by deactivating the IDs of 14 conductors, including two females. The corporation has entrusted M/s Unity Security Force and Training Institute Nagpur with the task of providing conductors for the Aapli Bus service.
Mahesh Dhamecha, the transport manager, addressed the media, highlighting that not only were the IDs deactivated, but stern warnings were also issued to the private agency responsible for the conductors’ deployment.
However, some conductors were found breaking these rules by allowing passengers to board buses without tickets, issuing tickets at lower prices, inappropriate behavior etc
