Every year during the Navratri festival, special arrangements are made for the large number of devotees at the Maa Bamleshwari Temple in Dongargarh, and this year is no different. To help with the extra crowd in trains, some trains will temporarily extend their routes to Dongargarh and Raipur.
Additionally, some long-distance express trains will make temporary stops at Dongargarh from October 3 to October 12, 2024.
Train No. 08742 / 08741 Gondia-Durg-Gondia Passenger Special will be extended to Raipur. Train No. 08742 will arrive at Durg at 20:30/21:05 and depart for Raipur, reaching at 22:30.
Train No. 08741 will depart Raipur at 05:15, arriving at Durg at 06:15, and continue on its scheduled route.
October 3 to October 12, 2024, Train No. 12772 Raipur-Secunderabad Express will make a temporary stop at Dongargarh, arriving at 18:34 and departing at 18:36. Similarly, in the opposite direction, Train No. 12721 Secunderabad-Raipur Express will arrive at Dongargarh at 10:46 and depart at 10:48.
From October 3 to October 12, 2024, Train No. 20843 Bilaspur-Bhagat Ki Kothi Express will arrive at Dongargarh at 21:56 and depart at 21:58. Conversely, Train No. 20844 Bhagat Ki Kothi-Bilaspur Express will arrive at Dongargarh at 05:55 and depart at 05:57.
From October 3 to October 12, 2024, Train No. 20845 Bilaspur-Bikaner Express will arrive at Dongargarh at 21:56 and depart at 21:58. In the opposite direction, Train No. 20846 Bikaner-Bilaspur Express will arrive at Dongargarh at 05:55 and depart at 05:57.
From October 3 to October 12, 2024, Train No. 12851 Bilaspur-Chennai Express will arrive at Dongargarh at 12:19 and depart at 12:21. Conversely, Train No. 12852 Chennai-Bilaspur Express will arrive at Dongargarh at 10:33 and depart at 10:35.
From October 3 to October 12, 2024, Train No. 12849 Bilaspur-Pune Express will arrive at Dongargarh at 14:41 and depart at 14:43. Conversely, Train No. 12850 Pune-Bilaspur Express will arrive at Dongargarh at 12:15 and depart at 12:17.
In addition to this, extra facilities will be provided during the fair in Dongargarh, including a passenger assistance center, additional ticket counters/inquiry centers, extra restrooms and toilets, a continuous announcement system for train information, temporary appointments for cleanliness, civil defense organization, scout guides, additional ticket checking staff, and extra railway personnel/commercial inspectors. Moreover, essential passenger amenities, including lighting and drinking water, will be ensured throughout the duration to avoid any inconvenience to devotees during the fair.
