The Maharashtra State Examination Council, Pune has rescheduled the Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (MAHATET) 2026 from June 21 to June 28, 2026.
According to the official release, the examination was originally scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, June 21. However, as the NEET examination is also being conducted across the country on the same day by the National Testing Agency (NTA), and many examination centres overlap, the decision was taken to avoid inconvenience and ensure the smooth conduct of both examinations in the interest of candidates.
The revised MAHATET examination will now be held on Sunday, June 28, 2026. Candidates will be able to download their hall tickets online from June 16 to June 28.
Paper I of the Teacher Eligibility Test will be conducted from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm, while Paper II will be held on the same day from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm.
Candidates have been advised to check updated information on the official MAHATET website, mahatet.in
