Board rusticates 12 students on first day of SSC exam 

The examination for Secondary School Certification (SSC) conducted by Maharashtra Board for Secondary and Higher Secondary Education began on Friday.

On the first day of the examination, the board official caught 12 students copying and rusticated them. According to board officials, out of 12 cases, 10 were registered in Bhandara district and the remaining two from Gadchiroli district.

The board officials said that the examination was conducted smoothly and in peaceful manner at all the other remaining 690 exam centers. The board has appointed 45 flying squads to check and prevent use of unfair means by the students during the examination.
