Champati couple’s murder: Adopted daughter with boyfriend plans killing

The mysterious murder case of elder couple has been cracked within twenty four hours by the crime branch and Wadi police.

The police have arrested the adopted daughter Aishwarya Champati and her boyfriend Mohammad Iqlakh Khan for planning the murder.

The duo has admitted to the killing of Champati couple by giving them sleeping pills and then killing both as they were allegedly against their affair.

The incident came into light on Sunday evening, when a retired official of WCL Shankar Campati (72) and his wife Seema Champati (64) were attacked with a sharp weapon.

Initially Priyanka tried to shape the incident as a robbery case. She stated that she saw her parents lying dead when she returned home. However, after detail investigation and questioning the neighbours, the truth was revealed.

Priyanka had been adopted by the couple after her parents died. She was working as an IT engineer at IT Park. Her boyfriend Iqlak is an emerging cricketer of Vidarbha.

During investigation, the police came to known that Priyanka use to often get into arguments with parents as she wanted to marry Iqlak.

Aishwarya came to know that her parents are planning to shift to Pune by disposing of the property. This is when the duo planned to eliminate the couple.
