In a last-minute move Tekchand Sawarkar filed his nomination as Bhartiya Janta Party candidate from Kamptee constituency for the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly Elections.
In the B-form, first preference is given to Tekchand Sawarkar and the second name is of Anil Nidhan.
The fourth list announced by the BJP today also did not include the names of Energy Minister Chandrasekhar Bawankule after Khadse, Tawde and Prakash Mehta. Hence, the suspension of candidature from Kamptee constituency remained until the last moment. Now, at the last minute of filing the application, the BJP was given a B form to Zilla Parishad members Tekchand Savarkar and Anil Nidhan.
