OCHRI Gets registered under MSME scheme

All Indian service industries should obtain MSME registration- Udaybhaskar Nair

Recently Orange City Hospital & Research Institute -unit of Ravi Nair Hospitals Private Limited got registered as a Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise by Union Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises. Government of India led by Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises is promoting inclusion of indigenous service industries under MSME wherein they are covered under Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development (MSMED) Act 2006 for related engrained statutory benefits.

In view of OCHRI’s comprehensive Polytrauma care management, OCHRI is the only hospital of Nagpur to have been recognized by Roadways, Railways and Airport Authority of India for aiding them in emergency care. OCHRI is the only hospital to have been recognized by 60 major organizations of Central India.  OCHRI is the only Private Hospital of Nagpur whose services are availed by Government authorities as an emergency care center during visit of any Z Plus security covered VVIP to Nagpur. NABH granted Full accreditation to OCHRI in 2018 in a single stroke. OCHRI was also ranked 1st Best in NMC Zonal Hygiene Survey 2018. OCHRI is the only Nagpur based hospital to have retained a place in THE WEEK National Survey of India’s Best hospitals list since 2006.

Highlighting this registration, Shri.Simha Chalam, OCHRI Executive Director- (Finance) stated that in accordance with the provision of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises Development (MSMED) Act 2006; Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) are classified into Manufacturing Enterprises & Service Enterprises. The Act seeks to facilitate the development of these enterprises. It provides first-ever legal framework for recognition of the concept of “enterprise” which comprises both manufacturing and service entities.

Dr. Anup Marar- OCHRI Director added that although Government of India provides lots of benefits to MSME so as to promote Make in India and Skill India; many service industries are not registered under MSME since it is voluntary. All service industries should check with their CA’s and get registration so as to avail the embedded benefits boosted by Government of India led by Visionary Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Udaybhaskar Nair- Nairsons Chairman mentioned that apart from Priority Credit clearance and Lending; Less interest rates, Income Tax exemption, Credit Linked Guarantee Scheme, Market assistance, varied subsidies, technical support, grants for infrastructure development and Technology/ qualityupgradation support to MSMEs are few of the benefits.
