PM announces Lockdown 4.0 and economic package of Rs 20 lakh crore

“Lockdown 4 will be implemented in the nation and will have major changes. Rules and regulations will be provided before May 18” Prime Minister Narendra Modi informed while addressing the nation on the deadly Noval Coronavirus.
India has been in lockdown since March 24 and is currently in the 3rd lockdown which will end on May 17.

In his half-hour address to the country, PM said World is fighting with this virus for more than 4 months and Millions being affected. One virus has affected the entire world and everyone is working hard to be alive. It is a fight between life and death. We have not seen such crises before but we must not stop.

Modi has also declared a special economic package for self-reliant India of Rs 20 lakh crore which is 10% of India’s GDP which will give a boost to independent India. The package will include and will help different sectors related to land, labourer, liquidity, and law. This package will help members of all the sectors. Finance Minister will provide detailed information on this economic package tomorrow, he added.

PM further added that in the pre-corona period India had less production of PPE kit or N-95 masks. Now we are making 2 lakh PPE Kit as well asks for the corona warriors.

Be it TB, Polio or any other disease the work done by India had always set an impact on the world. Medicines that were delivered to other countries were a relief for all and helped in fighting with the virus. We have the technology, equipment, manpower, a great supply chain, and brain.

PM said that India runs on five major pillars that keep the country in functioning namely Economy, Infracture, System, Vibrant Demography, and Demand and supply chain.

This virus has affected the strongest nation as well but this has shown us our true power as a nation. Local vendors, fruit sellers, labourers and many more had gone through a lot of trouble during the lockdown and this financial relief will provide a flow of cash and help in bringing back the economy to normal.

The local business is what helped us in surviving in this hard time and we have to help in boosting these local businesses. Scientists have informed that we will have to live with the virus.

PM Modi yesterday took a preview meeting with all the Chief Minister of states in which PM asked all the CM’s to share all the details with him by 15th May. A broad strategy on how each CM would deal with the lockdown their particular states. He asked them to make a blueprint on how they will deal with various nuances during and after the gradual easing of the lockdown.
