At last after a decade of wait, the patch joining Wanjari Nagar water tank and Ajani Station Road has been over, some the people  have raised doubts of how its going to be an accident prone spot, without proper turning space etc. But many daily travelers who have no other option, but to take the same road to earn their livelihood, have got a great sign of relief.
For a daily passer, reaching home in the evening after office or work was a long wait of at least 30 minutes. If any commercial vehicle comes in between and jam the traffic the clearance time would take even an hour. To clear the signal of Wanjari Nagar turning one had to wait for two to three signals, every day.
The conjunction of traffic was common and it was a long awaited demand of citizens. Majority of the commuters has expressed gratitude  to Nitin Gadkari, Union Road Transport, Highway and MSME Minister, for his efforts and making the long awaited dream come true.
An aged man on the subject of anonymity said that it was a demand from last 25 years, as the zigzac road used was too narrow, water tankers traffic from both the side had increased the problems of the residence of the colony. “Now a straight road from Umrer road to Rahate Colony is clear. If everyone drive at a controlled speed there will be no accident,†he said.
Vikas Bunde, Social Worker also echoed that the line to cross the Wanjari Nagar Signal often was 1 km long. The questioned raised about accidents can be rectified, and each one has to be cautious while driving, as responsibility and facility are two sides of the same coin and no one can ignore any of them. Majority were of the opinion that the road connecting GMCH and Superspecility Hospital was important and the small patch of 524 meters will be helpful in saving many emergency patients too.
